Mixed live with Serato, rough edges and all. Give it a listen, first. If you want more background, view the tracklisting.

Radio Citizen — The Hop (featuring Bajka)

Not to start out the mix with a track from a compilation, but I got this off Putamayo Presents – A New Groove just before DJing my friend Sven's wedding. I think it started that mix, too.

Chops & Thangs — Madlib

Madlib, beatsmaster.

Pudpots — Nightmares on Wax

Dig the horns.

Step Into a World — KRS-One

I'll admit — I was late getting to KRS-One. Better late than never, though. A dope MC is a dope MC.

Pour Me One — Joe Beats

Good ol' Joey Beats. I'm still impressed he got Kid Dakota on a mixtape. /\/\ \/\/ represent (that's for Paul).

Money Folder (Four Tet remix) — Madvillain

Madvillainy is a great album, but Four Tet understands sound like no one else.

Climing Up the Walls — Easy Star All-Stars

I can't tell you how much I like this song. Yeah, it's a Radiohead song — I don't even care. It's just amazing. Snares. Horns. Killer vocals.

Black is the Color — Nina Simone and Jaffa

Oh, it's good. Really good. Raid the Blue Note vaults anytime, Jaffa.

Ready or Not — The Fugees

This song sounds even better at -10%. I didn't take it that slow here, but you should try it sometime.

1200 — DJ Krush

Minimal animal.

Midnight in a Perfect World — DJ Shadow

Ah, Shadow. I spent many happy hours transcribing and learning the drum part for Building Steam with a Grain of Salt. Thanks, Jay.

Dope Skills / 6 Million Ways to Die — Dieselboy

Drums! Bass! Woo!

Tonto — Battles

They absolutely killed at Paradise Rock Club. Abstracted and devestatingly rockin'.

She Moves She — Four Tet

He says it better in sound than I can in words.
