visual scratch _ forwards

baby scratch forwards transformer chirp flare crabs

The forwards scratch is performed by moving the record forwards at the normal play speed, cutting the fader, then spinning the record back. When executed one after another, this has the effect of repeating the same segment of the record.

The forwards scratch was first performed by Grandmaster Flash in the late 1970s.
